This basic two-day course gives the participants the basic knowledge of wastewater treatment and is designed for beginners in the wastewater industry. Some areas that will be covered are understanding the reasons we have wastewater treatment plants, including stages and functions of a wastewater treatment system. Focus will be on a strategic concept of proper wastewater management, which includes efficient water analysis. This course also addresses the challenges in neutralizing and recycling wastewater.
